AMD HardOCP GamExperience Wrap-Up

So, it's been a couple of weeks since the AMD HardOCP GamExperience. Took me the first week to recover from all the work to prep and exhibit, and the long drive to Dallas and back. After that, I spent the next week working on my review of the AMD Radeon HD 7950. In the time I've had to reflect on the day, it only makes me look forward more and more to the next event.

I had a great time getting to meet everyone who stopped by the booth, and I enjoyed getting to share what we do at the WSGF and show off the new WSGF Edition Multi-Monitor Stand. It was amazing to see the passion that every has for good hardware and for PC gaming. It was also great to see the number of companies who came out to show off their products and talk to the enthusiast crowd.

Co-op Gaming in Eyefinity: Renegade Ops

Welcome to the next of my video blogs where I look at co-op games and how satisfying the experience is in multi-monitor. I love co-op gaming, but not all co-op games play well in multi-monitor. My reviews cover what I needed to do to get the game working in Eyefinity, any issues that I found in the game that relate to it, and how fun I found the whole experience.

This episode reviews the game Renegade Ops.

In case it is helpful, I have provided a text copy of the transcript as well. Enjoy!

Howto: Unreal Tournament 3 up to 4 players Split-screen with multiple dispays

Hi and wecome to the next of my blog entry where I help you to run PC games in split-screen mode.

For today I have prepared a real treat: Unreal Tournament 3. Eventhou this game was originaly released in november of 2007 by Epic Studios - constant engine updates make this game look grate even today. This fast paced first person perspective shooter is a fine example of Unreal Engine 3.0 possibilities. And since the game is developed by the same studio as the engine itself, it has a lot of features which are ment to promote UTEngine and are not availible through traditional menu. Today we will take the advantage of this fact to play this title in split-screen mode.

I. How to run the game in SS
II. Controller configuration
III. Multi monitor setup

Eyefinity Co-Op Gaming Experience: Payday the Heist

Many games today offer an online gaming option so that you can play with friends, be it competitive or cooperative. The surround gaming experience does not have to be limited to just single player and when your playing with friends it's always nice to be able to see 3x more than they can!

Check out some eyefinity/surround gaming footage for Payday: The Heist
