About the WSGF

The Widescreen Gaming Forum, shortened as WSGF, was founded by Skip Clarke in October 2003. Since then, the platform has been a premier source of information on widescreen, multi-monitor, ultra-wide, super-wide and 4K gaming. We started back when widescreen displays were just coming to notebook PCs.

Over the years, we have amassed a database of over 2400 games, detailing how they perform in all kinds of configurations. The Detailed Reports have become the cornerstone for testing games for compatibility, while our terms have been adopted by Wikipedia and other platforms as the standard description of field of view scaling in PC games.

The members of our passionate community of widescreen enthusiasts have created and documented solutions for over 600 titles which either do not natively support modern display configurations or have some flaws.
