Fantasy

Fantasy-themed games are games where the plot, theme, and setting involve magic, monsters, and/or other supernatural elements.

Magicka: Wizard Wars

Magicka: Wizard Wars is a Spellcasting Action PvP game with the humor and the dynamic realtime spell system of Magicka. Players form teams of four and blaze their way across the battlefield, combining magical elements on the fly to create hundreds of spell combinations with wildly varying effects.

Child of Light

Child of Light is a platforming role-playing video game. It puts players in the shoes of Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who, in her quest to return, must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the mysterious Queen of the Night.

Gameplay mixes the attributes of a side-scroller with RPG elements such as leveling-up to increase stats over time. Battles with enemies utilize a system similar to the Active Time Battle system found in games like the Final Fantasy series and Grandia.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues

SotA is a fantasy role-playing video game. Described as being a spiritual successor to the Ultima series, Shroud of the Avatar is primarily developed by Richard Garriott as creative director, Starr Long as executive producer, Chris Spears as lead technical designer, and Tracy Hickman as lead story designer. Shroud of the Avatar is currently estimated for release in Q4 of 2014.

Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues will have a dual-scale over-view world map, player housing, crafting, an active virtue system, and "selective multiplayer", which allows players to choose whether to play online or offline. The entire game can be played offline.

Might & Magic X - Legacy

Might & Magic X - Legacy revives the tile-based gameplay of the RPGs of yore - namely Might and Magic III and the Xeen games, rather than the latter titles in the series. Legacy's world and plot are not in direct relation with New World Computing's classic Might and Magic RPGs, though but loosely linked to turn-based strategy game Might & Magic Heroes 6 and even to Dark Messiah.

The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and released in 2014. It is a part of The Elder Scrolls video game franchise, of which it is the first open-ended multiplayer installment.
After March 16, 2015, the game has no more monthly subscription fee and is called by the sub title "Tamriel Unlimited".

Game of Thrones

This 2012 RPG is set in the world depicted by George R. R. Martin's novels and the HBO series they inspired.

Unepic

Embark on a strange adventure in a vast castle with gameplay inspired by the Castlevania series.

Life Goes On

Sacrificial teamwork: the essence of coo(rpse)peration.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing

This is the first game in an upcoming trilogy of story-driven Action-RPG. Monster hunter extraordinaire Van Helsing wields swords, guns and spells while exchanging sarcastic comments with his ghost ladypet. On the whole the game is strangely reminiscent of the original Dungeon Siege, but maybe that's just because my favorite mule back then was named Katarina.
