Stubbs the Zombie in "Rebel Without a Pulse"

Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse is a third-person action video game developed by Wideload Games and published by Aspyr Media, and built with the Halo engine. The game takes place in the fictional city of Punchbowl, Pennsylvania at its opening ceremony in 1959. It just so happens that the city, founded by Andrew Monday, Maggie's son, has been built directly on top of Stubbs' not-so-final resting place.

Divine Divinity

Developed by Larian Studios, Divine Divinity is an action RPG. This game employs a top-down perspective with mouse-based movement and actions. Combat is fast and geared towards experienced gamers.

The gameworld allows for nonlinear exploration and questing. Character development is a customizable class-based system.

Don't be put off by the goofy title, this game is a gem.

BioShock

Bioshock is Ken Levine's vision of a paradise lost. This first person shooter is considered the spiritual successor to the System Shock series. The game takes place in the underwater utopian city Rapture as it is in a state of impending collapse. You must survive the horrors that await.

Bioshock is a FPS developed by 2K Boston/2K Australia. It is set in a 1960 that got a big dose of science fiction.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

The game details events that occurred thousands of years before any of the Star Wars movies. A Sith Lord called Darth Malak is intent on destroying the Republic and needs a lightsaber swatting. Players can recruit several different NPCs and have active parties of three characters. Battles are a mix of turn-based and real-time actions. NPCs are a collection of humans, droids, and other assorted alien things. Party members develop based on class and player customization decisions. A lovely array of Force powers is available for your adventuring pleasure.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

You are the Turok Joshua Fireseed, who has been summoned to the Lost Land to defeat the alien race known as the Primogen. The collection of weapons available to Turok are arguably the best selection of weapons to ever appear in a first-person shooter. This game boasts an aiming system that allows for specific body parts to be targeted and "removed". Razor Wind = Carnage.

Sonic Heroes

Sonic Heroes is a platforming video game and the 8th installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, developed by Sonic Team USA and released in 2003 (Japan) and 2004 (North America) for multiple platforms. The game follows four teams of three characters, each of which has a unique subplot, and as Dr. Eggman begins another attempt at global domination, each team follows a separate path to stop him.

Team Fortress 2

Developed by Valve, Team Fortress 2 is a class-based, multiplayer FPS. Players choose teams and then compete against one another with various winning objectives such as "capture the flag". There are nine specialized classes that the player can select. Players are encouraged to work together as teams to compensate for the weaknesses of different classes. The game has a unique, cartoon style which allows you to enjoy your repeated deaths at the hands of your turncoat friends.

Warsow

Warsow is a fast paced, free, first person shooter aimed solely at competitive play. It's currently still considered "in beta" as it's being updated based on community input, play-testers. While not having quite the popularity of other FPS deathmatch games like Quake3 or UT2k4, it has quite a following in the United States and most of Europe, and just had it's first cash-prize LAN event, CDC3.

The Witcher

Set in a world created by best-selling Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher combines spectacular action and an intriguing storyline. You are aWitcher, a warrior who has been trained to fight since childhood, subjected to mutations and trials that have transformed you. You earn a living killing monsters, and are a member of a brotherhood founded long ago to protect people from werewolves, the undead, and a host of other beasts.

Crysis

Crysis is based in a fictional future, where an alien race has invaded Earth. The single player campaign has the player assume the role of Jake Dunn. Dunn is a United States Delta Force operative, who is armed with various futuristic weapons and equipment, most notably a "Nano Muscle Suit", which is an artificial and technologically advanced exoskeleton, inspired by the United States' Future Warrior 2020 program, according to Bernd Diemer, one of Crytek's senior game designers.
