Games built for the 16:9 aspect ratio. Typically released after 2011.

Thunder Wolves

This arcade shooter combines "over-the-chopper's-shoulder" action with the odd first-person on-rails stage. In addition to all the heavy rock and cheesy action movie dialog you could ask for, it also features a rare delicacy: utterly destructible environments. Every single building and vehicle, enemy or not, can be blown to smithereens.

The game features a dozen missions that can be replayed with any of the nine unlockable helos. Local co-op gives two players the chance to form a (hopefully) harmonious pilot/gunner team.

Anomaly 2

Tower defence - from the attacker's side. New to Anomaly 2 are the ability to morph every unit into a variant, and multiplayer modes.

Papo & Yo

Papo & Yo is a fantasy adventure video game, The game takes place in an unspecified Brazilian favela which the player has to navigate. Hunted: The Demon's Forge

Third-person slasher with basic loot, XP and auto-cover systems. You play as either Elara the elven archer or Caddoc the barbarian, both of which must cooperate to open certain doors, trigger story-related events and revive each other. Hunted also features a level editor and Gamespy-powered LAN and online multiplayer, but sadly no local co-op. It's a mediocre game at best, but at least it's easy to fix.
