The Hunter

The Hunter is a free to play PC game that recreates hunting wild animals in as realistic a manner as possible, on an open world island, based on various locations, including the islands and surroundings of Washington State in the USA and parts of Canada. The free game features one huntable animal type (Mule Deer), and subscribers can unlock other animals, along with a variety of guns, bows and lures with which to hunt them. More animals are planned for future game versions.

World in Conflict

Originally, the game was Vert- out of the box. Native Hor+ was added in patch #1 and TripleHead support in patch #3. Patch #10 is required for playing online with owners of Soviet Assault. World in Conflict is a modern-era military RTS focusing on combat, with no base building or resource gathering to worry about. The campaign pits you and the US armed forces against an invading Red Army. The game also features multiplayer maps for up to 16 players. Soviet Assault adds new plot elements to the campaign and six missions from the USSR side.

Tycoon City: New York

In TC:NY it's up to you to expand your district by placing and upgrading buildings. Meet your residents' demands, develop your businesses against rival AIs, build famous landmarks of the Big Apple and ultimately take control over the whole of today's Manhattan.

Arx Fatalis

What can one say about Arx Fatalis? It's a 1st person RPG from way back (originally released in 2002) made by Arkane Studios (same folks who did "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic"). It was meant to be Ultima Underworld III but due to not being able to secure a license became its own game. I'm glad it's not tied to an existing franchise. It uses a skill based system as well as requiring the player to use mouse gestures to cast spells. The game is in the same vein as Morrowind/Oblivion but is much, much smaller in scale than either.

TimeShift

TimeShift is a FPS created by Saber Interactive released in 2007. This game is noteable for allowing the player to manipulate time. It also received mostly above average review scores.

Empire Earth III

Empire Earth III is the third in the series of Empire Earth RTS games developed by Mad Doc Software (now Rockstar New England) and published by Sierra Entertainment. It is by far the least liked in the series by fans with (devastatingly) low review scores across the board.
