W(h)ether you call it GOATY or just another sheepish hype train, here's as a rare example of an indie project going viral and hitting its release window without turning to crowdfunding.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is a first-person shooter, and is the third FPS entry into the Borderlands series. The storyline of The Pre-Sequel focuses on Jack (who would be the antagonist in Borderlands 2), an employee of the Hyperion corporation; after the company's Helios space station is captured by a military operation known as the Lost Legion, he leads a group of four playable characters—all of whom were NPCs and bosses in previous Borderlands games—on an expedition to re-gain control of Helios and defeat the Lost Legion.

In the role of a bold exorcist the player travels to the Austrian mountains to free an old mansion house from the grips of a supernatural power.

A joint iOS/PC release, the new Depth Hunter is even more relaxed and accessible than its predecessor. No more evasion maneuvers or line tension to worry about: every fish shot is automatically bagged, thus making the "hunt" as effortless and cheerful as flower picking... until you get too close to a crab or jellyfish, at least.

A sequel of sorts to 2010's Guardian Of Light, Temple Of Osiris is an action-platformer combining lush 3D graphics and an old-school isometric view. F1 2014 is a racing video game based on the 2014 Formula One season developed and published by Codemasters. It is the sixth Formula One game produced by the studio. The game will feature the team and driver line-ups from the 2014 season, as well as the Red Bull Ring and the brand-new Sochi Autodrom.

It was reported in August 2014 that the game will allow players to choose any team to drive for in Career Mode, rather than making the player start at a team lower down the grid and work their way up, as in other titles.

As in the previous game, the player controls Gabriel Belmont, now known as Dracula, as he fights through an open world. Dracula's main weapon is his Shadow Whip, a weapon that is comparable to the Combat Cross from the original Lords of Shadow.
