Bionic Commando Rearmed

A modern re-imaging of the classic NES platformer. A funny little title with a retro feel.

System Shock 2

System Shock 2 is a 1999 first-person action role-playing game, designed by Ken Levine for Microsoft Windows. The title is a sequel to the 1994 PC game System Shock, and was co-developed by Irrational Games and Looking Glass Studios. The sequel was originally designed as a standalone title with no relation to System Shock; story changes were made when Electronic Arts—who owned the Shock franchise rights—signed on as publisher.

Thief: Deadly Shadows

FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage

FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage is a cheap console port where wrecking cars and causing mayhem is the aim. The developers made no effort to support widescreen or multi-monitor whatsoever.

It's burnout without the insane speed and with more debris flying around the place.

American McGee's Grimm

American McGee's Grimm is an adventure game from famed developer American McGee. It offers a twisted version of the venerable Grimm's Fairy Tales. The game is available exclusively through GameTap. The game has a great art style, but very basic gameplay. Some of the game and art decisions leave me wondering what the hell goes through McGee's mind. Grimm peeing any time you stop walking, to mark his spot to jump? Please, even 2nd graders aren't as juvenile. I understand the idea, but having him spit would have even been far less sophomoric. All in all, the art style and stories are great.

Final Fantasy VIII

In this adventure you control a group of teenage mercenaries and their friends. Plow your way through the nonsensical plot and save the world. This console RPG uses a relatively unique combat system compared to other Final Fantasy games. Summonable entities called Guardian Forces are junctioned to characters to provide additional abilities and stat boosts. The Triple Triad card game is one of the best minigames you will find in the Final Fantasy series.
