Neverwinter Nights is a Dungeons & Dragons RPG from Bioware and Infogrames. You create your own custom hero character, and you must singlehandedly defeat an evil cult, stop a plague, and thwart an attack on the city of Neverwinter. Extremely modular design and toolkits allow you to experience and endless amount of freely downloadable adventures, both to be played alone and in multiplayer.

Guild Wars

Guild Wars is an online game with some resemblance to Roleplaying games. It's quite popular, no doubt due to having to pay no monthly fees. The game offers an MMO experience in the different town, where the "countryside" and missions are "instanced."

Black & White 2

Black & White 2 is a strategy game from Lionhead and EA. Like the original, you play as a benevolent or malevolent god, though there's less godly competition this time around. You build cities, conquer lands, and generally make your presence felt using whatever divine methods you like.

SpellForce 2: Shadow Wars

Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars is a combination Real-time strategy and RPG game created by German game developers Phenomic as a sequel to their 2003 release SpellForce: The Order of Dawn and its two expansions (Spellforce: The Breath of Winter and Spellforce: Shadow of the Phoenix). Spellforce 2: Shadow Wars has been followed by the expansion Spellforce 2: Dragon Storm.

The Wheel of Time

The Wheel of Time is a fantasy-themed 3D shooter based on the novel series of the same name by Robert Jordan. Combat is ranged, but the player character doesn't use any weapons and instead relies on artifacts called "ter'angreal". There are 40 types of ter'angreal in the game, which can be used for offensive as well as defensive purposes, e.g. shoot lightning and fireball, heal or hide the protagonist in a cloak, etc.

Uru: Ages Beyond Myst

Uru: Ages Beyond Myst is an adventure video game developed by Cyan Worlds and published by Ubisoft. The title is the fourth game in the Myst canon. Departing from previous games of the franchise, Uru takes place in the modern era and allows players to customize their onscreen avatars. Players use their avatars to explore the abandoned city of an ancient race known as the D'ni, uncover story clues and solve puzzles.

Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie is a first person shooter action adventure game based on the 2005 film King Kong. It is a collaboration between the film's director Peter Jackson and famed videogame designer Michel Ancel (Rayman, Beyond Good & Evil), remarkable in that such true cross-medium creative partnerships are rare in the realm of game development. It was released on sixth generation platforms on November 17, 2005.
