Torchlight is a 3D singleplayer hack-n-slash. Despite the low-gore atmosphere, post-WoW look/pets/steampunk weaponry, and Titan Quest-like skill management and two-handed combat, the gameplay of Torchlight is as close to good old Diablo's as it gets.

New features in Overlord 2 include an extra layer of next-gen eye candy, mounts (allowing your multi-colored horde to access otherwise out-of-reach places), a refined magic system and more - but the core of the game remains the same : lead your horde to bend everything and everyone to your will, then get back home and buy new furniture.
