OK - so what that dude asked for is actually already in the game - there are like 10 different "combat mode" cameras....
The dude thanks you for giving the topic your attention HaYDeN.

Re: The Witcher 2 FoV
I was having an idea yesterday about a nice compromise.
If one were to alter the FoV for out-of-combat, but keep the rest intact. (so that when you entered combat or any other "focus enviroment" it would zoom in as it is now)
This would give developers the freedom in restricting gameplay ...

Is there a way to increase it?
Tried the Flawless widescreen tool, but alas my computer is not strong enough for Eyefintiy.

Re: Using FOV to turn Games into Simulators
Tripling the amount of screen real estate you have shouldn't simply add on to the "normal" distorted single monitor view you are use to. It should completely change and your gaming experience along with it.

Angle compensation ?
Hello
Does this exist in any game / application?
Normally when i play in eyefinity, i place my monitors in a straight line, however the more comfortable alternative of placing them in an angle, also angles the game in a pretty unnatural way.
it would be awesomely cool!

Modded the bezels between screens (1 on right and left, and 2 on middle), made it thin and nice, only the aluminium band that holds monitor layers together between =)

Re: Mass Effect 2
It has been some time since this game was reviewed in wide-screen support, and I know Eyefinity was not working correctly.
Can someone please tell me if there has been any updates regarding proper Eyefinity support? I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Official statement on eyefinity in Mass Effect 2
A quick fix that takes care of the key issues of FoV and UI position doesnt seem like something that a Big company would do - rather, if they'd decide to patch it, it would be wholeheartedly, with the whole package of reworked backgrounds, menus and all....stuff that would need fixing.

Re: Has anyone here tried the 3D thing?
I beleive what he may be trying to explain is that with our own eyes we see objects from 2 different view points, 1 from each eye, that are of cause a small distence apart.
When using the shutter glasses the eyes are alternatively blocked, while the other views an image, this image is from the ...

Re: Has anyone here tried the 3D thing?
it is "real" 3D if that is your definition. you see one angel with right eye and another with the left.
Well i think i lack the knowledge of programming and inner workings of games to explain any better..
Perhaps someone else abit more qualified could?

Re: Has anyone here tried the 3D thing?
Im pretty sure these things cant give real 3d, only "simulated" 3d... since you actually would need 2 different viewports in a game (different angles from 2 eyes) for the mind to properly percieve real 3d vision.
Its probably cool tho, havent tried.
