This game takes place in London in 1868 during the Industrial Revolution. Like many of the earlier games it is told as a simulation played in the present using the Animus technology from the Abstergo company from the viewpoint of an anonymous Assassin initiate. In the present Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings clash with the Templars who are searching for a Piece of Eden in modern day London. There are regularly short sequences in modern times, but the game is almost entirely played in the simulation of London following the Assassin twins Jacob and Evie Frye who look for Pieces of Eden.

X: Rebirth is set in the Albion space system which was established in X³: Albion Prelude. The player takes the role of Ren Utani who discovers the legendary space ship Albion Skunk and, together with his co-pilot Yisha, gets involved in the faction war between the governing Pultrach Mining Corporation and the Heart of Albion rebels. The campaign mostly serves as introduction to the game elements as the game's focus is still on player freedom.

Victor Vran (titled 'Victor Vran ARPG' on Steam) is a monster hunter tale told in timed combos, weapon switches and wall jumps. It's also a controller-friendly game boasting no less than two control schemes for keyboard & mouse. The hero is voiced by Doug "The Witcher" Cockle and a Motörhead-themed expansion is in the works. In each profile, at the start will be 1 car for Classic (1968 Ford Mustang, Off-Road (1998 Ford F-150 4x4) and Performance (2005 Air Force Reserve Ford Focus) and 2 starting for Modern (2002 Ford Crown Victoria and 1999 Ford Racing Puma). Other cars will needed to be unlocked in Ford Challenges or Ford Competitions.
