Platformer (Action)

A type of game popularized by "Super Mario Brothers" in which the character traverses obstacles in a physical world. The genre names comes from the act of jumping from one platform to another, to cross pits or chasms. This is often done while avoiding and/or attacking other obstacles or enemies.

Distance

Distance is an atmospheric racing platformer. Fusing futuristic arcade racing with parkour, survive a deadly, mysterious, neon-drenched city by jumping, rotating, and flying. The roads are treacherous with obstacles around every corner. Instead of doing laps on a loop, survive to the end in the quickest time. Your car has abilities that not only allow you to drive on the track, but upside down and on buildings and walls! You can also fly to discover new shortcuts and paths. Take on the roads alone, or in multiplayer with your friends!

Steamworld DIG 2

SteamWorld Dig 2 retains the original’s addictive resource-gathering gameplay, but supplements it with a gorgeously detailed, handcrafted world. Its heady mix of exploration, combat, platforming, and puzzle solving, alongside an expansive set of abilities and mods gives it plenty of variety and a great gameplay rhythm. I wish there was more to do once the campaign ends, but that’s a testament to the fact that what is here is just about pitch perfect.

Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2

Kao the Kangaroo Round 2 is an action-adventure video game first released in 2003 by Tate Interactive, and a sequel to Kao The Kangaroo.
The wicked hunter from the first game returns and Kao and all of his friends in order to take revenge. However, Kao escapes from his ship and must find a way to defeat the hunter and his allies to save his friends.

Kao: Tajemnica Wulkanu (also known as Kao: Mystery of Volcano) is a 2005 3D platformer game created by Tate Interactive and published by Cenega. You play as Kao, a kangaroo, who must collect four artifacts to overcome evil forces from inside a volcano to save his friend.
