Messiah is a third-person action game set in urban environments with sci-fi elements. The player controls Bob, who can fly (though at low altitude), but not do much else; he is very vulnerable and can be easily killed. Thus, the player must make use of Bob's other ability: possession. Bob is able to take over any creature, from humans to animals. Once he possesses his target, he has complete control over its movements.
The young Recruit Drake fails the entrance exam of the military academy. It is denied to him to fight for his kingdom, Glory. Humiliated and frustrated, he wants to throw himself into the throat of the brutal mushrooms. But there Drake realizes that he is not the only one who wishes to end their lives due to disappointment. He encounters the last, depressed remains of the royal troops that are returning, with heavy casualties, from a decisive battle. From the battle that was denied Drake.

Don’t let the glow of the PDP Afterglow AG9+ distract you. Shiny though it may be, the AG9+ is a mediocre multi-platform headset best avoided by strict PC gamers and left to the console playing tweens at which it’s likely aimed.
I confess that I’ve long suspected PDP was a company built on cheap flash, i.e. the costume jewelry of gaming peripherals. I’ve visited their show booths at E3 and PAX in the past, and found their wares to be largely cheap, shiny stuff aimed at less discerning (and probably younger) console-focused gamers. But I finally decided to finally give them a fair shake and review some of their accessories first hand, starting with the Rock Candy wireless keyboard, and then moving to the Afterglow AG9+ wireless headset.
This deliciously over-the-top platform brawler is something of a cross between Prototype's combat and the Tomb Raider series' puzzles... as seen through the fixed camera from the Lego games.
