I've gone through and updated the videos in the Gallery (and re-uploading to YouTube where needed), to take advantage of YouTube's new offerings. The default video format and resolution is now the "High Quality" version displayed at 840x525 (1/4 of 1680x1050). Under each video is a link to view the 720p version in full 1280x720. It's really nice to see the videos in HD; and the Surround videos have a much bigger impact now.

A "remote cousin" of the Heroes of Might & Magic series, King's Bounty : The Legend combines turn-based battles and real-time exploration in a lenghty singleplayer campaign.
infernus posted a few days ago that YouTube had gone widescreen. This certainly helps all of our videos, and makes the Surround Gaming videos easier to see. In addition, most everything uploaded after May 2008 is available in 720p HD. By adding "&fmt=22" to the end of the video URL, the video will play in 720p (if available).
The "&fmt=18" string still works to get rougly 480p resolution. I will be re-uploading all our older videos to the WSGF YouTube Channel so we can take advantage of the new 720p capabilities.
I wanted to take a few minutes to wish all of our US readers a Happy Thanksgiving, and to thank everyone for their help and support over the years. Titan Quest is an action RPG by THQ, in the vein of Diablo II. The game is in the historical fantasy genre. Titan Quest is a 3D 'hack and slash' (acton RPG) featuring monsters inspired by ancient mythologies. It has gorgeous graphics, day/night cycle, ragdoll animations, WYSIWYG loot system - and of course, heaps of equipment to collect.
Immortal Throne adds in a whole new chapter (all-new places, quests, monsters and loot), a new mastery with its unique skills, and an array of other new gameplay elements.

The Chronicles of Spellborn is a MMORPG, developed by Spellborn International and distributed by Frogster Interactive, set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. Spellborn uses the Unreal Engine, featuring a so-called European Art approach and contains notable contributions from Jesper Kyd.
Spellborn distinguishes itself from other MMORPGs by emphasizing the focus on story line, separating the look and the statistics of gear, integrating Player vs Environment and Player vs Player and offering combat that is fast paced and more reliant on player skill.
If you play (or plan to play) an Xbox 360 on a 20" or 22" monitor, you're in luck. The New Xbox Experience (NXE) supports 1440x900 or 1680x1050 as a native resolution over VGA and HDMI. This ensures that the new Dashboard and games scale properly.
