I made it for fun about year ago, it can be done preety cheap - now these panels cost about 120$ each so 600$ total

I run it on i7 6850k + 2x gtx1070 sli

panels are 15,6" IPS 3840x1080 from aliexpress (with board controllers)


all displays are powered via 12V from pci-e plug (custom cable of ...

I have already two dell up2715k

i am hunintg at ebay for third

so for now options are:

1. SoftTH
2. eyefinity6 card (but then I have to use old amd card - strongest card is W9000 which is 280x equivalent with 6gb ram - joke (i know i know, w9100 is better but cost a lot and already ...

diablo2 1.13c multires on dell up2715K @ windows 10

problem is that IN GAME even on 4K i dont see character in the middle of screen, on 5K my charracter is in right down corner so i can't go you south and east, (screenshot look OK in diablo2 main directory, but is impossible to game)

If you look closer on specs you can see

W9100 = R9 290x (w9100 has 16gb ram instead 4/8gb on R9 290X)
W9000 = HD7970 (w9000 has 6gb ram instead 3gb on hd7970)
W8000 = HD7950 (w8000 has 4gb ram instead 3gb on hd7950)


so i think in gaming W9100 will be works the same as r9 290x) just cost a lot more

so if this new driver (eyefinity pro) allows to using multiple cards (4) - this will be very good news bcoz 3-monitor firepro are very cheap right now so doing 3x3 wall will be very easy

try to similar resolution

maybe
7680x1600 (3x30) or 7680x3200 6x30" and up/underscaling them

or 5760x2160 (6x fullhd)

or use advanced google search (images bigger than 12-15mpix)

Anyone can check triple monitor configuration with INTEL haswell IGP on displayport??

I have H81TN mobo + G3220 cpu + club3d mst hub

main monitor i plug to hdmi port on motherboard + mst hub on dp (in mst i use two dp outputs bcoz i have only dp/dvi adapters for now)
DP @ DVI ACTIVE and DP @ VGA ...

best way to 12-display videowall

2x matrox m9138 (or one m9188)

+ 6x dp @ dual hdmi adapters

No flickering, no problems with active connectors.

I had 650 and 650ti before and triple monitor rig works without any problem

Now i have 750ti (msi). I plugged all 3 monitors (dvi/hdmi/dsub) all three are working and but I dont have SURROUND option in nvidia control panel

I installed fresh win7 and the newest drivers from nvidia site twice

my bad, now I see, its not support mixed resolution and max is 1920x1080 so worse than club3d mst hub but cheaper

One eyefinity6 card can operate 2x dvi/vga monitors with passive adapters - for rest of them (4) you need active adapters

IF you want make extended desktop (one big surface/big resolution) is only possible for max 6 monitors (one card)
if you want use two cards it will be possible as well but then ...

yes, my mistake about 1024x768 - i meant 1280x1024 per screen with ati hd5,6 or 7 series

about softTH and pci-e
I dont make any badwitch test but x8 2.0 pci-e should be enough for even 5-6x 1920x1080 screen

With HD4xxx and older ATI cards you can easy get 5040x1050 (or maybe even 5760x1080) from one DVI
Just when eyefinity comes around ati limited triplhead2go units to max 1024x768 per screen.

Both the MV103HDP pro and the MV103-HDVE Pro have cascade function according to the specs.
For video walls they are better than matrox because you can manage more than 2 modules per computer.
I checked the price on the MV103-HDVE Pro and its around AUD $350.

only these two configs arent avaible: 4x1P and 2x3L (not3x2)

2x3L will be great bcoz with dp @ dual hdmi adapter willbe easy to make 4x3 videowall
