Maybe I am just an optimist but I don't think this "doesn't sound very promising". This title sounds pretty good for ultra-widescreen gaming, imo.

I have a spare analog TH2G I will sell for cheap but this is not most people's preference.
I switch from 3xDVI output to the TH2G when I want to game but this is far from ideal for most people.

There is an upper limit to the pixel count in an Eyefinity group but I don't think you are hitting it.
You might look at the custom resolution hack people are using to get mismatched monitors working in Eyefinity.
Is it possible to use 6 of these together? In lieu of the TH2G obv.

GenericBeing, I think there is a "-window" or "-windowed" that you also need to set in order for it to not run fullscreen.

Interesting 3D Monitor Product
I found this product from Planar and thought others might be interested in looking at it. I've never seen this kind of configuration for enabling 3D so thought is might be worth posting, even though right now I'm personally not interested in the technology very much.

Heh, you must be playing a Nascar sim.
I like Davros' suggestion. Althugh it's ineffiecent, I think it's the only way to achieve what you want.

Re: Solution for Mixed Landscape/Portrait Multimon Gaming
Yeah unfortunately. You can actually transmit 2560x1600 over a SL-DVI at 30hz but pretty much any LCD won't take it, plus it means you're talking about 30fps max.

Solution for Mixed Landscape/Portrait Multimon Gaming
One common idea for triplehead gaming is to mix 2 20" LCDs (at 1600x1200) mounted vertically with a single 30" LCD mounted normally (2560x1600), resulting in a single 4960x1600 display. However none of the usual suspects allow for mixing landscaped and portrait mode LCDs into a single display. I am ...

Triplehead2Go user here. Menu and UI work in DX9 but everything else is black and the resource icons streak crazily. DX10 works but the FoV is locked, stretching to your resolution. So the view is the same in triplehead as it would be one. Also zoom is slightly broken from capping you lower then in ...

Hi I had trouble understanding the procedure you used. On mine, first set SC2 to 10x7 in fullscreen, then close the program. Start CustomRes, enter 1024x768 in the first field, and your desired res in the second, and then start SC2.

Also the night vision alt-fire on the marksman rifle does not work properly. The right most portion of the screen caps the night vision. It works properly on the most left though.

Re: disabling the "fisheye" effect.
Think the peripheral distortion issue is one of optics, no? If one were to project straight onto a concave screen, the distortion would get rounded out, assuming the geometry of the surface was correct.

Yeah guys the GF100 is a first gen card on a new fab and a new approach to graphics processing. Can't say I'm very surprised. Wait for the die shrink and things should come more into a value position. Hopefully it won't take as long as the GTX 8800 to gen2 GTS 8800s did.

I've never understood the want for bezel compensation. You're just losing information and I don't feel the extra aesthetic improvement warrant the trade-off.
In addition, the way your brain processes visual information makes bezel compensation doubly useless. Your brain processes signals from ...
