Stranglehold, or John Woo Presents Stranglehold, is a third-person shooter developed by Midway Games' Chicago studio, released in late 2007 for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. It is Midway's first game to use Unreal Engine 3, and was developed in collaboration with John Woo.
The game is the sequel to Woo's 1992 Hong Kong action film, Hard Boiled, and stars Chow Yun-fat in a reprisal of his role as hard-boiled cop Inspector "Tequila" Yuen. Stranglehold is the first project on which Woo and Chow have collaborated since Hard Boiled.
The patched game is not compatible with the FOV hack. For Hor+ gameplay, see Stranglehold v.1.0.

The Racer_S hack doesn't work in v1.1 ( only v1.0 ). So don't apply the patch if you intend to use the hor+ hack.
Most native resolutions are supported natively. A few such as 1280x768 are not. If yours isn't, you need to use the command line parameters -ResX= and -ResY=. For instance, if you installed the game to D:\Stranglehold and you wanted to use 1280x768, you could edit the shortcut so that it looks like this:
"D:\Binaries\Retail-Stranglehold.exe" -language=eng -ResX=1280 -ResY=768
The Racer_S hack doesn't work.
command line parameters -ResX=2560 and -ResY=1080 needs to be added to the shortcut. Gameplay is vert- and hud is stretched.
Only the menu rendered on the game's engine is hor+, tha game itself is vert-
command line parameters -ResX=3840 and -ResY=2160 needs to be added to the shortcut.
