Diablo II: Resurrected is an action role-playing video game co-developed by Blizzard Entertainment and Vicarious Visions and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It is a remake of Diablo II (2000) and its expansion Lord of Destruction (2001).
The remaster mainly updated the original game's graphics and network functions and originally did not change any of its item systems or game balance. Resurrected overlays upgraded 3D models atop the original Diablo II's 2D sprites, and is designed to toggle between the legacy and upgraded visuals with a button press. Its cutscenes were also remastered.

Solutions & Issues
Ultra/Super-Wide Specific Solution & Issues:
The game is limited to 19:9. The following solution for 32:9 comes from mana2000's guide:
- As a precaution, you may want to make a separate copy of
D2R.exeusing any different filename and edit that copy instead of the original file. For example, you could rename the copy to_D2R.exe, but that is only an example. The copied file does not need to be named_D2R.exespecifically. Any different filename is fine, as long as it is a separate copy of the original executable. This is only a safety measure to reduce the chance of affecting your default setup or original executable. If you prefer, you may edit the original file directly at your own discretion. - Open the file you want to edit in your preferred hex editor (e.g. HxD).
- Search for
create_vignetteand remove it or replace the corresponding bytes with00. Example:63 72 65 61 74 65 5F 76 69 67 6E 65 74 74 65 5F 70→00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 - Search for
85 EB 01 40 92 0A 06 40 72 1C 07 40 00 00 00 00and change to85 EB 01 40 92 0A 06 40 72 1C 70 40 00 00 00 00 - Save the file and and launch the game in Offline Mode using the edited executable.
