ARC Raiders is a third-person extraction shooter developed and published by Embark Studios. The game takes place in a distant future on Earth where mysterious and deadly "ARC" robots have taken over the surface, forcing humanity to live underground. Some residents of the underground city Speranza, known as "raiders", choose to go above ground, also known as "the topside" to collect resources to sell.

The game includes an option for positioning the HUD: either "stretched" or "centered". After a brief hor+ real-time cutscene in the tutorial, its rendered cutscenes are vert-, but play only for a few seconds when transitioning between the main menu and loading into the game.
