Solutions & Issues
The HUD becomes bigger at wider resolutions, however, the game includes a UI scale slider ranging from 0.75 to 1.25 in increments of 0.01.
The only real-time cutscene in the game is the intro, which runs for about 25 seconds and shows a leaf falling from a tree. Its scaling is vert- but the cutscene is of no significance, although it can be watched uncropped by selecting a 16:9 resolution in the settings, creating a new profile and starting a new game.
As in widescreen, the UI gets bigger in ultrawide. Lowering the UI scale in the game settings allows to reach HUD size parity with 16:9.
Another minor issue is the world map screen, which features a static background that does not have enough width for 32:9 or wider.
Multi-monitor resolutions are affected by the same minor issues as in ultrawide.
Moreover, as seen in the Additional Screenshots below, the HUD is spanned, resulting in the goals and current resources being displayed at the edges of the entire screen space, but this information is not time-sensitive. Conversely, the in-game guide and options menus scale properly and appear on the center screen.
