Destroy All Humans! 2 is a single-player and local multiplayer action-adventure game originally released on consoles in 2006. Reprobed is its 2022 remake, which brings it to PC for the first time via Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.
The protagonist controlled by the player is an alien who utilizes a variety of weapons, skills and freely throwable objects to attack and subdue humans. The comedy-driven game is set in multiple locations in the 1960s and makes cultural references to that era.
The original game was developed by Pandemic Studios, while the remake was created by Black Forest Games and published by THQ Nordic.

Solutions & Issues
In Fullscreen, the game does not appear to offer resolutions lower than 1280 pixels in width (e.g. 1024x640 or 1176x664), however, it respects the current desktop resolution in the Borderless mode.
The gameplay FOV scaling is hor+, which includes the co-op and duel modes. The outstanding issue is the vert- scaling of the local multiplayer game of tennis, however, it is of no significance in relation to the main game.
The real-time rendered cutscenes and dialogue scenes are pillarboxed to 16:9. Rose's solution allows to correct this.
The FMV cutscenes are a mix of videos in 16:9 and precisely 21:9. In ultra-wide and wider, both types follow the behavior of Static Aspect and properly use up the screen height without stretching.
The rendered cutscenes pillarboxing affects multi-monitor and can be corrected with Rose's solution.
For the most part, the game is very scalable but not specifically optimized for multi-monitor. Although the overall field of view change is hor+, the UI elements and the 21:9 cutscenes are not restricted to the middle screen area.
An additional issue is the split screen in local multiplayer. The field of view is properly scaled in the co-op and duel modes, however, the view area is split horizontally, making both images span the length of the available space, and placing the UI at the far edges of the side monitors.
In the tennis mode for local multiplayer, the viewable space is vertically split in two, while the FOV scaling is vert-, rendering this mini-game potentially unplayable.
See the Additional Screenshots for the demonstrations of the co-op and other behaviors.
Most of the handful of FMVs present in the game are in 1080p, however, the looping main menu background video and three FMVs are in 4K.
