Aquanox: Deep Descent is a first-person underwater vehicle shooter and a re-imagining of the AquaNox series, set in a period that predates the Archimedean Dynasty. It is the first game in the series to not be developed by Massive Development. Its development was publicly announced in August 2013 by Nordic Games and was followed by a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015.

Solutions & Issues
The game targets 16:9 displays with a fixed horizontal FOV of 80 degrees. It is entirely playable despite low FOV, due to the game's setting, although a Cheat Engine script allows to modify it.
Due to vert- scaling, playing the game may be difficult. Use Cheat Engine script to increase the FOV. Recommended values:
- 21:9 - 95.5
- 32:9 - 118.4
Pre-rendered cutscenes are stretched from their original 16:9 aspect ratio (with the exception of the ones used in splash screen).
Increasing FOV with Cheat Engine is required. Recommended values:
- 3x 16:9 (48:9) - 136.6
- 3x 16:10 (48:10) - 132.3
- 3x 4:3 (12:3) - 124.1
Just like with ultra-widescreen, pre-rendered cutscenes will be stretched from 16:9 aspect ratio. Navigating the station's menus can also be problematic with buttons being spread out over multiple screens.
