Widescreen Solution & Issues:

Native Hor+ support, although gameplay is only Hor+ toward the right.

FOV slider present !
Screen change is centered when you reach the exit !
If you enable Environment Depth, the FOV increases slightly.
If you disable Fullscreen you can't pick a resolution - window is resizable from vintage 640x360 but will stick to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
If you can't apply the resolution you're looking for in a truncated drop-down menu, edit the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tapstar Interactive\Boulder Dash®

Native Hor+ support.

Environment Depth: vignette effect is constrained to 16:9.

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues:

Limited support: Hor+ but off-center gameplay.

Character is stuck on the left monitor... until you reach the exit.
If you enable Environment Depth, the forced perspective on the sides monitors makes the game even more "challenging" !
