Toki Tori 2+ is a Metroidvania style puzzle adventure. There are no tutorials, there's no hand-holding, no-one tells you what to do in Toki Tori 2+. The fun is in exploring and overcoming the obstacles of the lush forest island on your own merit.

The loading screens are however Hor- on narrower aspect ratios. To allow open-matte aspect output anywhere, hex edit --> ...\steamapps\common\Toki Tori 2\tokitori2.exe
From there, go to offset 9F6C5 and replace 75 6C with 90 90.

To gain the same FOV as in 4:3 you need to hex edit --> ...\steamapps\common\Toki Tori 2\tokitori2.exe
Go to Offset 382210 look for 39 8E E3 3F and change it to 39 8E 50 40
You need to override the aspect ratio restriction by passing:
--no_aspect_ratio_restriction
As a commandline parameter to the game.
