DOMA Pro PCI Open-Air Case Review

Like most PC enthusiasts, I'm rarely satisfied with my rig. I'm always looking to tweak, change and update what I can. Luckily getting to benchmark video cards and play with different Eyefinity configurations helps with that gear lust.

However, in one area I think I've finally found a piece of kit I am happy with (maybe), and that is my open air case from MyOpenPC. The case is the DOMA Pro PCI, and it works great. Below is a video review of the case that also goes through the assembly process, talks about pros and cons, and looks at other options in the MyOpenPC line.

Pros:

  • Very easy access to PCI cards. Completely tool-less.
  • Surprisingly good cable management.
  • Only $50 at Amazon. Most other open air and acrylic cases are 2-3x the price.
  • Conversation piece.
  • Great heat dissipation.

Cons:

  • Not made for easy transport.
  • Dust magnet (though it's dead easy to clean with compressed air).
  • Only supports 1x ODD and 2x HDD
  • Not made for water cooling.
