Oops WSGF had a phpBB database issue

Unfortunately our host had a RAID array failure on our box. Once the box came back up, we then found that we had significant database corruption in phpBB, our forums.

We are working on a mix of recovery and rebuilding. We have a solid backup of the Drupal database, but have found that we don't have a good backup of the phpBB.
Our staff is actively working to rebuild and fix the corruption.

EDIT:
Unfortunately until this is resolved we have needed to disable any new users from registering with us, although we hope to enable this very soon, our existing members are welcome to login and post as normal.
We have re-enabled user registration.

Budget DIY "Bass Shaker" (Audio Transducer) Project Part 1 - Intro

I have a project kick started by a viewer donation. My first one EVER! and so to put that to use for the channel I am starting a project I have thought about doing for a long time. A DIY audio transducer setup for my computer to enhance the realism of my games/movies and make it seem as if I have a much better/better sound system than what I actually have.

I will break this down into parts and walk through each step of the build part by part. This build is good for everybody not just computer gamers as these are very nice for your car, sofa in the living area, bed, and other applications including I plan to try and make a hard of hearing or deaf person vibration alarm clock.

Video 1 is the introduction to the project and thanks to the viewers. Next video will be walking through what to buy and why.

AMD Product Roadmap

AMD recently held a conference call to clear up concerns and misconceptions regarding its product roadmap for 2013. The bottom line is that they are focusing on the existing HD 7000 series for the better part of 2013, but will launch new products into the channel before the end of the year. The recent "Sea Islands" product roadmap is geared toward OEMs who turn out yearly product updates.

Bulleted details from the call are as follows:

Towns

Towns brings a fresh new take on the citybuilding/management genre by introducing many RPG features. Drawing inspiration from games such as Diablo, Dungeon Keeper and Dwarf Fortress, the game has you managing a settlement on top of an active dungeon. Instead of playing the hero who delves deep into the dungeon, how about playing the town that houses and caters to the hero's needs? Both the RPG and strategic aspects will be fleshed out over a series of sprawling dungeons.

Spiral Knights

Spiral Knights is a massively multi-player online role-playing game developed by Three Rings Design and published by Sega. In the game, the player controls a knight of the Spiral Knights order, which has crash-landed on the mysterious planet Cradle. Knights collectively explore the Clockworks, the mechanized, constantly reorganizing dungeon that fills the planet's interior. The knights equip armor and weapons to aid them in their battles against the monsters inhabiting the Clockworks.
