F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

The highly anticipated follow-up of F.E.A.R. will still be a FPS with loads of graphical violence and bullet time in a paranormal atmosphere.

Crazy Machines 2

Crazy Machines 2 is a contraption builder/puzzle game very similar to good ol' DOS-based The Incredible Machine (1992), although with gorgeous 3D graphics and a sophisticated physics model.

Arx Fatalis

What can one say about Arx Fatalis? It's a 1st person RPG from way back (originally released in 2002) made by Arkane Studios (same folks who did "Dark Messiah of Might and Magic"). It was meant to be Ultima Underworld III but due to not being able to secure a license became its own game. I'm glad it's not tied to an existing franchise. It uses a skill based system as well as requiring the player to use mouse gestures to cast spells. The game is in the same vein as Morrowind/Oblivion but is much, much smaller in scale than either.

Tomb Raider: Underworld

The third Tomb Raider game since Crystal Dynamics took over the series, Tomb Raider: Underword continues from the story line started in Tomb Raider: Legend where it was revealed that Lara's mother may not be dead, but rather trapped in the mythical realm of Avalon (from the King Arthur legend). For the uninitiated, the Tomb Raider series is about lady adventurer Lara Croft, who is intelligent, athletic, infatuated with ancient history, and distractingly busty!

Spectraball

Spectraball is an indie game that combines elements of platforming, puzzle solving, addictive game play, and stunning visuals to deliver an experience that sets a new standard for the genre. In December 2012, Spectraball received a major update and is now dubbed Spectraball: Extended Edition.

FreeSpace 2

FreeSpace 2 is a space shooter from Volition, the sequel to Descent: FreeSpace. FSO is an open-source port of the game that adds tons of new features to the engine like pixel shaders, and more importantly, widescreen support.

Bionic Commando Rearmed

A modern re-imaging of the classic NES platformer. A funny little title with a retro feel.

Thief: The Dark Project

Stalk your prey on the quest for stolen goods with your blackjack, sword, and an assortment of unique arrows. Steal for money and uncover the hidden agendas of your allies and enemies as you play through an unravelling story of deception and revenge.

Thief: Deadly Shadows

Thief: Deadly Shadows sees Garrett return to his thieving ways, in this third installment of Thief the plot involves the mysterious Keeper order. Although the game wasn't developed by the makers of the original Thief, Ion Storm did an admirable job.
