Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

The player assumes the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, changing perspectives throughout the progression of the story. Each level is a mission that features a series of objectives that are displayed on the heads up display, which marks the direction and distance towards and from such objectives. Damage to the player is shown by blood appearing on the screen. The player's health regenerates as time passes.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge

Third-person slasher with basic loot, XP and auto-cover systems. You play as either Elara the elven archer or Caddoc the barbarian, both of which must cooperate to open certain doors, trigger story-related events and revive each other. Hunted also features a level editor and Gamespy-powered LAN and online multiplayer, but sadly no local co-op. It's a mediocre game at best, but at least it's easy to fix.

The Haunted: Hell's Reach

Massacre meets machismo in this third-person co-op survival shooter. Repel demonic hordes with firearms, melee and hand-to-hand moves in various solo and multiplayer modes over eight open maps plus an Inferno boss stage. And for a change of pace, why not play as a trap-setting, minion-spawning demon yourself ?

Frozen Synapse

Frozen Synapse is the ultimate tactical game on PC and Mac.

It brings the simultaneous turn-based strategy genre bang up-to-date and lets you give detailed, accurate orders to your squad: classic gameplay with a modern interface. Plan your moves, test them out, then hit the "Prime" button: both you and your enemy's turns are executed simultaneously. Competitive-but-intuitive multiplayer and a huge single player campaign mean that Frozen Synapse will give you hours and hours of tactical delight.

Rush

From the twisted puzzle minds behind the award winning Toki Tori comes a new game, simply called RUSH.

Fortunately for fans of high quality puzzle games, RUSH is anything but simple. In the game’s fully three dimensional levels, players need to guide cubes to color coded exit points using Conveyor belts, Warps, Stops Signs, Splits and more!

The game can be easily controlled with just the mouse, allowing your brain to fully focus on the solutions!

Magicka

In Magicka, up to four players take on a grand adventure to save their world from certain doom using a fully dynamic spell system. The adventure mode takes the players across three different levels, ranging from the lush forests of mountain valleys to the frozen halls of the Mountain King where wits and creative thinking are the keys to victory.

Revenge of the Titans

At first they came from the skies, and we repelled them with hired spaceships on a shoestring budget! Now they’re back, and they’re sending their ground troops to destroy our bases – thirty-ton monsters with glowing eyes and slavering jaws! And we still don’t have any money!

Nimbus

Nimbus is a unique combination of racing & puzzling. The player controls a craft with no means of directly propelling itself and needs to use whatever is scattered around the levels to acquire thrust and reach the goal. Traverse a world map with several distinct islands in order to recover your lost love. Light on story, but heavy on gameplay Nimbus offers several hours of increasingly harder challenges.

Alien Swarm

Alien Swarm is a free game and Source SDK release from a group of talented designers at Valve who were hired from the Mod community. Available free of charge, the game thrusts players into an epic bug hunt featuring a unique blend of co-op play and squad-level tactics. With your friends, form a squad of four distinct IAF Marine classes.

Afterfall: InSanity

It's Dead Space plus blunt weapons in post-apopoland (that's post-apocalyptic Poland, BTW). And there's a demo, too !
