Air Legends

Air Legends is a quasi-3d WW2 dog fighting game, with 'cartoony' graphics. It was created by my mate Sharky using MS XNA and is available on the XBox360 and PC. It has single player and split screen options. The demo and full version, for a donation, are available from: http://sharky.bluecog.co.nz/?page_id=244

Micro Machines V4

Eight years after V3, Micro Machines come back to the PC for more crazy, fast, unforgiving arcade racing. In addition to the power-ups and weapons, extensive car collection and multiplayer modes, V4 also features an optional "dynamic" (pursuit) camera besides the old-school, non-rotating top-down view, and an all-new track editor.

Legendary

Brace yourselves, Spark is back with another idea to tear New York, London and the whole world apart. Legendary is a checkpoint-based corridor FPS with lots of gore, in which you'll shoot down mythological creatures on the loose and drain their "animus" to heal yourself or release a shockwave of energy around you. The game also features LAN and online multiplayer modes.

Burnout Paradise

The first in the Burnout series to be ported to the PC, Burnout Paradise is an arcade driving/racing game. Unlock dozens of cars each featuring a detailed damage model and packing large amounts of "boost". Enter a challenge at every crossroad in Paradise City, from "orienteering" races to stunt contests - or freely roam the streets, train tracks, multiple-storey parking lots and buidings roofs in search of Super Jumps or "smashables" to add to your achievements list. With a host of community tools, modes and leaderboards, the game is also strongly oriented towards online multiplayer.

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty

Turning Point: Fall of Liberty is a first-person shooter (although occasional events trigger a third-person view) set in a fictional year 1953 as the Nazis, supreme rulers of all Europe, launch a massive assault upon the United States.

F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin

The highly anticipated follow-up of F.E.A.R. will still be a FPS with loads of graphical violence and bullet time in a paranormal atmosphere.

Rainbow Six: Lockdown

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Lockdown is the fourth game in the Rainbow Six series. Lockdown is the first entry in the Rainbow Six series to feature graphics effects which includes normal mapping and specular lighting, as well as physics objects. Advanced graphics were available only on the PC version.

OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast

20 years after its coin-operated debut the arcade classic returns, this time on the PC. Sit tight in your Ferrari and get ready for ultra-fast old-school racing and crazy challenges through rich and varied environments in beautifully old-fashioned graphics.

Re-Volt

RC car racer with weapons and powerups. A lot of fun.

TimeShift

TimeShift is a FPS created by Saber Interactive released in 2007. This game is noteable for allowing the player to manipulate time. It also received mostly above average review scores.
