Rez Infinite

Rez is a musical rail shooter developed by United Game Artists and published by Sega. Inspired by the work of Russian painter, Wassily Kandinsky, the game was developed under the working title K-Project, and was conceptualized and produced by Tetsuya Mizuguchi. Rez is notable for replacing the typical sound effects found in most rail shooters with electronic music. The player creates sounds and melodies as they target and destroy foes in the game, leading to a form of synesthesia.

Audiosurf

Audiosurf is a uniquely-styled music themed indie game. In a nutshell, think music/rhythm game meets Dr. Mario. You control a space ship flying through a track filled with colorful blocks, and can add these to a Tetris-style well by touching them. Match 3 colors in a row to remove them and gain points, and you can rack up big combos by setting up complex chain reactions.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is a music video game, the third main installment in the Guitar Hero series, and the fourth title overall. The game retains the basic gameplay from previous games in the Guitar Hero series, where the player uses a guitar-shaped controller to simulate the playing of lead, bass, and rhythm guitar parts in rock songs by playing in time to scrolling notes on-screen.

StepMania

StepMania is a free/open source rhythm video game for Windows, Mac, and Linux created by Chris Danford. It was originally developed as a simulator of Konami's popular arcade and console video game series, Dance Dance Revolution, and has since evolved into an extensible rhythm game engine capable of supporting a wide variety of rhythm-based game types.
