Saul Meyers was once a member of a special military squad. During one of the missions, his squad was nearly annihilated; witnessing the only other survivor descending into insanity, Saul retired from the military. Meanwhile, a new powerful drug has surfaced in a troubled region somewhere in the Caribbean. The prosperity of the drug lords and the suffering of the victims are no longer possible to ignore. The government re-installs Saul as a special agent, and sends him on his most dangerous mission so far.

Saul Myers is a veteran of the French Foreign Legion living abroad in Paris. His daughter Lisa is a journalist working in the fictional South American country Realia. When news of her kidnapping reach Saul, he doesn't hesitate: it's off to Realia, to rescue his daughter. Cargo Commander is a played as a 2D platformer but with 3D cell shaded graphics. The player controls a Cargo Commander, the Cargo Corps' latest recruit. He works in space and must reclaim priceless cargo from containers filled with aliens. The Cargo Commander has a computer he uses to control a giant magnet. He pulls containers from space with various useful items. He also has a special Fistcannon device to drill holes in the walls and shoot the aliens and destroy spawning crystals. Aliens are like cockroaches, they infest containers and are dangerous.
