I saw today a advertisement image for the new MSI GX60 laptop that comes equipped with the AMD 7970M GPU. In that advertisement it showed eyefinity running 3 monitors from the laptop directly by using the HDMI, Dispaly Port, and VGA connections together.

This may not be the very first laptop to do this, but its the first that I have seen that really is catered to mainstream users due to price and availability and also a sign perhaps that we may expect more of this in the future.

It takes a lot of power to run eyefinity, so I would not expect the latest and greatest games to run great on a system like this but if your into older games especially things like say the source engine games, this could be an interesting idea for you.

Time for a new product review! This time I have a hands on look at the Cube by Nuforce. The cube is a small portable speaker that is self powered with a built in DAC, Headphone Amp, and supports both digital (via usb) and analog (via 3.5mm) inputs for maximum compatibility for any device. Looking for a way to one up the built in speakers on your device? This may be the ticket you were looking for.

If you are the type that likes to tune into a good gameplay video now and then I am hosting a full playthrough of Borderlands 2 with a 4 Player static team. The gameplay is balanced with each person using one character to give you a well rounded content experience. All of us have good high quality mics and are mature adult gamers.

I have a mission to one day get a WSGF booth in this room to help spread the word about multi-monitor pc gaming and show the masses how awesome it is.

This year it didn't happen but I would still like to cover the event and give you a tour of the gaming room.
Lots of hardcore gamers come to the event just to go to this room and play games through the weekend, they host tournaments and imported games and its a good way to meet fellow gamers.

Time for a new product review, this one is for everybody as I think we all use a microphone pretty much every day. Tired of having people tell you that your mic sucks? Want to one up your setup to something better? For me the ultimate transformation from "ok" to "great" recordings and voice chat was when I got the Blue Yeti. Since I was a big fan of that microphone I was really excited to see them offer a newer and better version called the Yeti Pro.

So this review is all about the new model but has plenty of information on the original Yeti as well. Check it out I am sure you can learn something.

Amidst my super busy weekend I took Guild Wars 2 for a spin in surround mode. Gave it a good initial testing for support compatibility and performance.

The game is working, but with severe blemishes that hinder gameplay experience. I will cover most of these in the video and hope that by the time Guild Wars 2 hits full release that these problems have been rectified and that we get a gold certified game.

Having multiple monitors can make your computing life easier and more fun. WSGF knows all about this, it's what we specialize in...
However the Windows operating system sadly passes up many opportunities to capitalize on features and benefits that can be provided in a multi-monitor configuration.

With luck 3rd party developers help fill the gap between what is and what could be, today we look at developer Actual Tools product called Actual Multiple Monitors.

With a ton of new audio hardware in my hands this is the first of many reviews to come. The Siberia V2 is a mainstream entry level gaming headset that is designed to work on multiple platforms (Xbox360, PS3, PC and Mac).

I'd say it performs pretty admirably for the price if you use it for it's intended purpose, but it has some shortcomings as well. Check out the video review for full details.
