Heritage of Kings: The Settlers

The fifth instalment of The Settlers series of Real Time Strategy games on the PC. Heritage of Kings breaks off from the typical pattern that Settlers games have followed since they began: while the concept of the game remains, in essence, the same, a lot of the gameplay features have changed from those of The Settlers IV, and slightly resemble many of the gameplay aspects displayed in the game Cossacks: European Wars. Despite this, Heritage of Kings still maintains many of the characteristics of classic Settlers gameplay.

Gangland

Gangland is a strategy/action game from MediaMobsters and Whiptail Interactive. The plot is pretty much completely described by the game's intro text: "Four brothers have come to America. Three are having the time of their lives in the new world. The fourth is there to kill them." You are the fourth brother, in case it isn't completely clear.

War Rock

Chris Sawyer's Locomotion

Chris Sawyer's Locomotion is a strategy game from Chris Sawyer and Atari, and is a spiritual successor to Transport Tycoon. You play as transport company entrepreneur and must build railroads, truck lines, bus lines, airlines, and freighters, and attempt to make your business successful. The game features 40 scenarios taking place in multiple nations and covering every period of the 20th century, a scenario editor, and a multiplayer mode.

Terminator 3: War of the Machines

Terminator 3: War of the Machines is a team-oriented multiplayer FPS from Clever's Games and Atari. It is based on the Terminator 3 universe (having loved The Terminator and hated T2, I haven't seen T3 and can't comment on whether the game follows the movie or not). It takes place in the year 2029, where the machines are attempting to take over the world, and the humans are trying to stop them. You play as a grunt on either side in one of the many battles that occur. Gameplay closely resembles Battlefield 1942.

Savage: The Battle for Newerth

Savage: The Battle for Newerth is a science fantasy computer game that combines aspects of the real-time strategy (RTS) and first-person shooter (FPS) genres. It takes place in the distant future when humankind has rebuilt society following an apocalypse, but is threatened by intelligent beasts. The game was released in 2003, and was turned freeware on September 1, 2006.

Command & Conquer

The first installment of the series was released worldwide on August 31, 1995 and was named Command & Conquer with the subtitle of Tiberian Dawn. It was based on Westwood Studios' earlier strategy game Dune 2.

Ford Racing 2

Quake 4

Quake 4 is the fourth major installment in the Quake series. It is a story-based, single-player game. This is in contrast to Quake III, which focused solely on multi-player. Quake 4 is a continuation of the storyline from Quake II.
