[quote]Nevermind, you have to change a key binding in-game for all the bindings to appear in the section we are modifying, then you can reinput the hack.
FOV works great again for me.
I'll check it out, I have a few mouse buttons bound, and the section we were adding our own entry like the F11 key but I guess you have to get the game to use it some how.
Edit fixed finally, had to reset to default, binding stuff did not work for me. Even after resetting to default all my stuff was still in the file it didnt delete it, just some strange config issue.
Edit2: did it again when I added new stuff, all I had to do again was hit reset to default and my binds worked, did not have to exit the game or anything. That said using the posted w key binding for FOV 105 or what ever is great for single screen play but I just tried doing this -
FOV 142 - W Key
FOV 110 - Left Shift Key
and it works really well!
Since you push shift after W to sprint it reduces the fov to the point where there is almost no zoom effect when you run and it prevents the up side down half pipe tunnel thing.
After your done running, a quick tap of foward (w key) and your back in business. Im going to play like this for a while its nice to see the game on 3 screens again, also since I am playing sniper now, this actually kinda makes up for the crappy zoom on sniper rifles.
How did you edit the WillowInput INI to get this done? I tried putting the Command="FOV 110" in the preset binding for the Left Shift key to no avail, how exactly are the bindings entries supposed to look? These are the two changes I have so far, everything else is stock.
Bindings=(Name="F11",Command="FOV 142",Control=False,Shift=False,Alt=False)
Bindings=(Name="LeftShift",Command="advancedbutton bAdvancedButtonAux6",Command="FOV ")
But this makes it so that it won't run at all holding the shift key.
