Cool pack. I don't understand the deal with The Elder Scrolls series modders. I've been in and seen many modding communities for many games. Everywhere i've been people have been friendly and generous with their knowledge, mods, whatever. Only here do all the creators act like total jackasses all ...
You still need to connect to their servers to launch the game and to install it. This isn't any better. As long as the illegal copy provides a better service to the gamer they will still lose out.
Awesome game, mods have already made it more awesome. This time around Firaxis is releasing a REAL Software Developer's Kit with several tools to edit the game extensively, that stuff should be out within a week. DLL Source code will probably be out within the year.
Everyone has hair on their face like that, they went for one of those HD looks which reveals them. When you look in her helmet, those black marks are meant to be war paint.
I can't name a country off the top of my head besides the United States that is barred from banning movies and media, except in cases where its content is commonly seen as obscene and illegal, such as snuff and child porn. I know the UK has a ...
Not interested in Steam. I want to buy games, not rent them.
No such thing as buying a game. You rent all your games, no matter what, in the form of a license to use one. Which according to most all game company's dubious EULAs, can be revoked at any time.

This has been going on for like 6 years now. I don't understand why California won't just give it a rest. Maybe they have more pressing concerns, like an economically devastated people and that whole San Francisco disappearing up its own asshole thing.
Well that was fun. Too bad about the linear part, but it never advertised itself as anything else so it isn't really a negative. Being from a good few of the developers of Stalker definitely gave it the same feel, but I much prefer the free roam, or at least the mods for the multiple STALKER games ...
WHY, who did you open another thread? We get it, you and cranky would open up a slaughter house for pirates if you could, the discussion is over!
o, sometimes when you debate the PC piracy problem people act like publishers overreact and the problem is not that big a deal and those people would ...
I don't see a need for a new title, seems perfect to match my reaction. Each side has some particular vocal members that refuse to change their opinion. It will not end.
Here's my idea for DRM, definitely less intrusive:
Every copy of the game comes with a dongle, but not just any dongle. This dongle is a pistol, and what you do is load it and connect the usb wire to your computer and put the disc in. It then mounts to your desk and, during installation, you ...
I heard about the pay-for-cheats thing awhile back but never went looking for examples. I can't decide if this is more or less absurd than horse armor.
What really irks me about Codemasters is that they are the primary party causing "licensing issues" resulting in awesome games getting pulled ...
