Let's Play Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - In 50% Eyefinity

If you are looking for an extensive amount of Skyrim gameplay footage I have been personally working on an entire LP series.

You can track the series by viewing it's playlist on YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL06A13A2A55387977

Skyrim was little more than just an experiment for me at first but after getting about 7 hours in it has really hooked me and started to develop as a great game. I did a lil' something different with this series in that I never do LP's in eyefinity because the vast amount of my viewership would not be able to see much video on a single monitor, as I was editing the first episode I took notice that Skyrim has nothing to crop off the edges (no HUD, menu, dialog etc) so I cut the 2 side monitors via crop by 50% giving me this new product I call 50% eyefinity that is a great middle ground for both multi-monitor viewers and single screen viewers alike.

It takes a LOT of time & effort to record/edit/encode/upload videos in this resolution but so far I like the results and the game is so much more fun to play in eyefinity than a single monitor.
If you are a multi-monitor viewer take advantage of the ultra high resolution uploads and view in "original" resolution for quality higher than 1080P.

CES 2012 Ruminations

So, we're coming up on three weeks since CES 2012. It wasn't a huge show for gamers, but there were a few standouts. The first couple of days started strong with lots of news and announcements, but this quickly tapered off by the third and fourth days. I guess this is to be expected.

After have a few weeks for it to all sink in (and to get through another video card reviews and the AMD HardOCP event), I thought I'd circle back around and give my spin on all the announcements. Did gamers fare well, or was it all TVs, tablets and new wave washing machines?
