The camera stops following the ship whenever the map's edge comes into view. In TripleWidescreen, it happens a lot. Gameplay takes place over the entire display, hindered by the increasingly distorted perspective and muted sounds.
This is however an improvement over the restricted movement issue reported on release day by Skid.
