Native support
The Flawless Widescreen fix is outdated for the Enhanced Edition on GoG and Steam (v3.4.0).
Instead, use the Widescreen Fixer, select the game version: GoG or Steam, select AMD or NVIDIA (depending on your GPU), and use the custom aspect ratio of 43:18.
The HUD will still be in its 16:9 format, the menus will have black bars, and CGI cut scenes are still in 16:9; everything else works though.
For GoG & Steam version v.3.5.0.26g (May 2023): You can use a custom version of Widescreen Fixer (r662) & Plugin found on 3dsurroundgaming.com
Nvidia Surround has native support, but Eyefinity isnt supported, you'll need flawslessws fix to run it. This tool supports up to version 3.3 for Steam and 3.0 for GOG. The current Steam version is not supported.
WideScreen Fixer instructions to support both Eyefinity & Surround for GoG & Steam version of Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition:
- Simply download Widescreen Fixer, select the plugin, configure it (using the Gear/Cog on the right), play the game and enable the fix.
- Sometimes the fix is not activated the 1st time. Simply disable and enable the fix again to make it work.
