Widescreen Solution & Issues:
Native support. Menus are 16:9 (narrower aspect ratios are pillarboxed).
When using the cockpit camera the look right function may see beyond the end of the car model (depending on the FOV setting).
Ultra/Super-Wide Specific Solution & Issues:
Menus are pillarboxed 16:9.
Cockpit camera: car model ends suddenly when looking right when using higher FOV settings.
Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues:
Native multi-monitor detection. All HUD, menus, text prompts, etc. are confined to an appropriate centred location (16:9 for 3x16:9, 4:3 for 3x4:3; 3x4:3 menu is also letterboxed to fit within the space correctly).
Multi-monitor has the following flaws:
- The camera may clip into very close objects depending on the FOV and aspect ratio, e.g. during the fly-through of the starting grid.
- Cockpit camera: front passenger door window may end at the edge of the output when looking straight ahead depending on FOV.
- Cockpit camera: car model ends suddenly when looking left/right.
