Solutions & Issues
Native Hor+ support and there's a Camera FOV slider in Options, Gameplay.
- FMVs and 2D art are squished in aspects lower than 16:9.
Tech: Unity. Patch 1.02 added the FOV slider and fixed 21:9 menus. Patch 1.04 enabled the developer console.
Native Hor+ support.
- 2D art stretches. FMVs too although they actually look better than in 16:9; it's hard to say what the old reels "should" look like and to what extent the stretching and pillarboxing were intended by the artist.
Limited support: invasive UI hurts gameplay, can be hidden through a console command.
Bring the developer console (~ or ²) and type togglegui to disable the HUD. To restore the crosshair simply "travel" to where you already are. Returning to the main menu restores the HUD and disables the console. Using the command twice does not bring the HUD back.
Subtitles must be disabled separately in Options, Gameplay.
Character portraits are still rendered (on the left monitor) during audio log playback. Notes are unchanged, magnified text spans across the display.
- Main menu is cut-off and scales to the left, keyboard/controller navigation is OK.
- FMVs and 2D art stretch.
Native support.
