Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II is a 2D side-scrolling platformer reminiscent of the original Sonic games for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. It plays very similarly to the previous episode, but with several enhancements. Sonic is now accompanied by Tails, either controlled by the computer or a second player via local or online co-operative play.

Widescreen Solution & Issues:

16:10 is just squeezed, but it can be fixed by hex editing Sonic.exe

To fix that, look for 8C 2E BA 3F and change it to 00 00 80 BF, then download Brandondorf9999's CE table, attach the process and enable all the scripts by pressing F2. To disable it, press F3. Alternatively, use the FWS script.

For FOV, press Ctrl with a combination of keys with these effects:

- (Decrease FOV)
= (Increase FOV)
Backspace (Reset FOV)

Aspect Ratio via Cheat Engine - see files available from the PC Gaming Wiki Community Files (search there). Press F2 in Game and make sure to mark it.

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues:
