This game supports widescreen out of the box. Just go to the video options menu, select widescreen 16:9 or widescreen 16:10, and select your resolution. That's it. My Faux TH2Go resolutions were available under the 16:9 option.
As of the February 24th update, you can constrain the HUD to a 4:3, 16:9, or 16:10 Aspect Ratio in the video settings.
