Widescreen Solution & Issues:

Native Hor+ support. Resolution can be changed at any time.

Cosmetic oddities:

UI seems to have been designed for 4:3 primarily (see Party & Masteries comparisons below).
Loading screen art appears anamorphic but a sliver at the top is chopped off in widescreen.
Map screen art is distorted in aspects lower than 16:9. Icons and captions scale correctly.

Ultra/Super-Wide Specific Solution & Issues:

Native Vert- support. Gameplay (esp. solo) is arguably only slightly hurt although 16:9 is definitely more comfortable.

Use the FOV Fix as a workaround.

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues:

Unsupported: Vert- FOV.

4K UHD Specific Solution & Issues:

Native support.
