Widescreen Solution & Issues:
F.E.A.R. got native support for widescreen in patch 1.8, but I think Extraction Point was based on v1.07 and it never got patched.
Launch the game once, and set all of the graphics options as you wish. Set the resolution to 1024x768.
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\TimeGate Studios\FEARXP
Edit settings.cfg.
Change the following lines to set your resolution.
"ScreenWidth" "1024"
"ScreenHeight" "768"
