How about adding some asian vibe to Halloween this year ? Indonesian ghosts are creepy, cuddly and may be banished through flash photography - if you can find their weak spots. Follow young Linda as she tries to escape a field trip gone awry, with only her trusty smartphone to light her way and reveal clues, hidden passageways, and supernatural presences to be sent back to the beyond.
DreadOut plays as a third-person adventure game with first-person camera shooting. It is also a two-part adventure, with Act 1 available now, and Act 2 scheduled to be released by the end of the year as a free update. The demo acts as a prologue of sorts and features a level not found in the main game.

Native support, simply select a resolution from the config launcher.
For some reason the launcher does not recall the last display mode used. Settings are stored in the registry (HKCU\Software\DIGITAL HAPPINESS\DREADOUT-DEMO).
FMVs, the main menu, dialogs and subtitles are formatted for 16:9 and scale to the top in narrower aspects.
(Screenshots of the intro logo FMV were used for convenience, but the demo's epilogue FMV behaves identically.)
Pictures taken are not adversely affected by the game's aspect ratio or resolution. They are always saved as 4:3 512x384 .png files - even though the smartphone's screen itself is 16:10.
