The menus looks a little pixelated/stretched but this only affects the Europe map experience when in Battle for Europe but not during actual gaming.
The intro FMV is letterboxed. Unfortunately, when it runs, it forces your display into 1024x768 mode, which means it will appear to be windowboxed (black bars on all four sides) on a widescreen monitor.
