Aliens vs. Predator

The long-awaited third FPS to pit Marines, Aliens and Predators against each other, and the second developed by Rebellion, the new AvP is a gamepad-friendly shooter for the cross-platform era. Jumping has been 'redefined', crouching is impossible but both Aliens and Preds have a vast array of gruesome, grand guignolesque fatalities and stealth kill moves to perform. It is also one of the first few games to boast DX11 effects and "official" Eyefinity support.

Solutions & Issues
Widescreen Solution & Issues:

Native.

Scope sights are perfectly circular in all ARs.
(Looking closely at the "fisheye" effect, it appears to be tied to the display width, although the difference is again negligible. Interestingly, the fisheye layer is a tad narrower than the scope itself in 4:3.)

Eyefinity / Surround Specific Solution & Issues:

Native, Hor+.
As is usual with DX10+ games, TripleHeaders may need to run AvP in DX9 mode for 5040x1050 to be available.

FMVs are 16:9 videos that get cropped (!) in lower ARs. (Seriously Rebellion, is anamorphism so hard?)

Kill moves and all "cinematic actions" are just as Hor+.

The Pred's HUD architecture does scale to fit the screen width, but it can't be counted as a flaw.

Scope sight: a good example of Eyefinity "Ready" vs "Enhanced"...
