SAW centers on Detective David Tapp who awakens in a decrepit, abandoned asylum. He has been captured by his longtime nemesis, Jigsaw. Obsessed with catching this serial killer, Tapp’s mission has consumed him and ruined his family, resulting in divorce, mental imbalance, and abandonment. Worse yet, this frantic hunt destroyed Tapp’s career while he watched his long-time friend and partner get killed by one of Jigsaw’s traps. Now Jigsaw has the upper hand and has captured the detective. Tapp must play a deadly game—the likes of which he has been investigating for years—to escape, and in order to do so he must survive the lethal traps and puzzles that Jigsaw has put in place for him and others. But each victim has a dark connection to Tapp. Will Tapp save them? Can he survive his obsession to find the Jigsaw killer?

Serious Sam: Double D

It's only a 2.5D side-scrolling platform shooter, but somehow Double D managed to capture the intensity and wackiness of the Serious Sam FPSs. Hordes of well-known monsters from the 3D games and new baddies of all sizes, power-ups, secrets, it has it all. And lo and behold, the Gun Stacker system lets you combine and use multiple weapons as one massively insane superkillertool.

Alan Wake

Alan Wake is a third-person shooter, described by its developers as a combination of "the mind of a psychological thriller", and "the body of a cinematic action game". The game is primarily set in the fictional idyllic small town of Bright Falls, Washington. The main gameplay happens in various areas of Bright Falls – such as the forest, a national park, or a farm – during the nighttime; these are punctuated by calmer, non-combative sequences set during the day. The player controls the epynomous protagonist, Alan Wake.

Tera - The Exiled Realm of Arborea

The Exiled Realm of Arborea, also known as TERA, is an MMORPG by Bluehole Studio. It was released in South Korea on January 25, 2011. The date for release of North America is May 1, 2012 and for Europe it is May 3, 2012 with open and closed beta testing taking place before their launch dates. Possible localizations for other regions have been mentioned, but have not yet been confirmed besides Japan.
