As a sequel and replacement to the 2016 hero shooter Overwatch, the game includes new game modes and a reduction in team size from six to five. The game is free-to-play on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S and features full cross-platform play.
South of the Circle is a cinematic narrative-driven adventure game with a focus on the player's choice at dialogue. It is set in the Cold War era and in part takes place in Antarctica in the 1960s. The game was originally released in 2020 for Apple devices before making its way to Windows PCs. It is available on Steam, GOG, and the Mac App Store.
Penumbra: Overture is a first person action/adventure game from Frictional Games and Strategy First. You play as an individual named Phillip, who has received a letter from his deceased father, asking him to destroy a set of notes. Instead of doing so, he reads the notes, and travels to an abandoned iron mine in Greenland to follow the clues in the notes. Penumbra: Overture has a physics based engine, and features lots of sophisticated physics-based puzzles, much more so than in Half-Life 2. Nearly every object can be grabbed, pushed, pulled, dragged, thrown, and/or otherwise manipulated.
